Mike is Olive Bio’s lab-based R&D expert. He holds a PhD in Biological Sciences and Bioinformatics from City of Hope, where he utilized molecular biology, protein engineering, and bioinformatics techniques to elucidate cancer disease mechanisms. His contributions to cancer research earned him numerous presentation awards and young scientist career achievement awards from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).
Recently, Mike has shifted his focus from cancer research to addressing environmental issues, specifically plastics. Through his work at Olive Bio, he aims to contribute to solving one of the world’s largest environmental challenges.
